The 2008 Bag Tag Rules
1. You must be a DDGA member to purchase
a tag. These are exclusive tags just for our members. Sign
up early this year and be one of the many 2008 Dayton Disc
Golf members to proudly hang a 2008 DDGA tag on your bag.
After the initial tournament, bag tags will be available on
a first come first served basis to all DDGA members for $10
each.
2. Be prepared to exchange tags every time
you golf (good or bad). This is what it is all about. You
MUST HAVE YOUR TAG WITH YOU! That is why it's called a "BAG
TAG." Keep it on your bag at all times.
Your bag tag is up for grabs basically anytime
you play. The only mandatory tag dates are for BID series
and bag tag tournaments. Highly encouraged at all other times
during weekly's and casual golf rounds.
3. ALL CHALLENGES ARE FREE (but a friendly
wager should always be welcomed) WITH ONE EXCEPTION: The Top
13 GOLD tags usually play for $5 a round (unless
other arrangements are made. Always be sure to come to
an agreement before challenging). It will cost you to
try and earn a GOLD tag.
4. Please do not deface your tag, engrave
additional wording, or alter it in any way. An unreadable
tag number is no fun to win and expensive to replace. If you
lose your tag you may purchase the next available new tag.
5. HAVE FUN. This is the most important
rule!
These are pretty simple rules for 2008.
We'll have nice tags that you can be proud of, and great DDGA
members to challenge or get challenged by. Bottom line:
come to an agreement before you play and have fun with it.
Good luck and good golfing in 2008.
Any questions, or concerns please contact
your 2008 DDGA Bag Tag Man, Steve O, 681-4123. Thank you and
Good Golfing!
